I just bought an album of Taize songs called Laudate Omnes Gentes. It is very beautiful and I really love it. Unfortunately most of the songs are in Latin so while I am enjoying them I don’t really understand the meaning. I really do want to understand them and wondering if any of you know where I can find the English translations for these Latin Taize songs?

Answer by solarius Many Latin song titles are very common, and have been used for centuries. They’re not new to Taize. Just Google the phrases, and you’ll likely find translations pretty quickly. Also, there are free online Latin-to-English translation pages and dictionaries.
